Hello.I see that I can serve Wikidata using this permission because I am:
- I contribute here and here
- I am an Arab.and I'll be the only Arab Administrator here and This is useful in anything related to Arabic
Thank you --ديفيد عادل وهبة خليل 2 (talk) 10:45, 20 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]- Moral Support, but "the only Arabic Administrator"? I don't think so, even if it points to ar-N it's also possible for others to request. --Liuxinyu970226 (talk) 22:57, 20 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
NeutralI don't find the rationale convincing (besides a dispute over "only", language skills should not be an overriding rationale for adminship) but I can't really find a reason to oppose. --Rschen7754 02:10, 21 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]- Oppose I'm afraid I have to oppose. In addition to what Rschen7754 said above, I'm not a fan of this premature rollback request, and Sjoerddebruin's point below.--Jasper Deng (talk) 06:17, 21 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
- Oppose doesn't seem to have enough experience yet. Multichill (talk) 09:23, 21 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
- Oppose, hasn't given a good reason as to why they want to be an admin, and also isn't experienced enough. --AmaryllisGardener talk 17:35, 21 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
- Support david is very active user---مصعب (talk) 19:08, 21 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
- Neutral His request seems to be based on two things: 1) There's no Arab admin yet (that's what I think he means with only Arab admin, not that there cannot be other Arab admins) and 2) He's active with Deletion Requests. 1 is never a valid reason to become an admin, just because we don't have an admin in a specific language yet. 2 is a valid reason, but is it enough to trust someone with the other rights as well? Especially since he needs to learn that he needs to respond on the page a discussion started (if it's his talk page, it needs to be there). Mbch331 (talk) 19:27, 21 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
- Neutral I appreciate his enthusiasm and contributions for the project. However, I am not sure if the rationale for requesting adminship is valid or not (per Rschen7754 and AmaryllisGardener). I think experience is also a concern here. I see some valid speedy deletion requests from him, but some of which are wrong. In my honest opinion, he needs to be more familiar with the deletion policies here before we can trust him with admin tools. I might possibly support at the next RfA when I see more experience in deletion requests. By the way, thanks for volunteering! Jianhui67 talk★contribs 04:14, 22 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
- Oppose, not happy to the answers. --Stryn (talk) 13:40, 22 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
- I've checked most of their RfD contributions, which is what I assume they want the sysop bit for even though they didn't say, and those all look good. This request will probably fail, but I think that the candidate is experienced enough to use the sysop bit properly here, and recommend that they re-request in a while after working on their nomination statement a bit. I'd be glad to help with that when the time comes. I'm unconvinced that "no AR-N admins" is a valid rationale. All the best, -- Ajraddatz (talk) 21:37, 24 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
- Changing to Oppose; disappointed with the candidate's interactions with other people here, and in his repeated requests for username blocks on AN. Better communication with the other volunteers here would go a long way before re-applying. -- Ajraddatz (talk) 06:25, 27 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
- Oppose per Stryn and Rschen7754. Thryduulf (talk) 11:40, 25 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
- Support Convinced mostly by Rschen7754. Seems needed. Was neutral due to inexperience but those kind of answers to those replies changed my mind --Averater (talk) 23:16, 25 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
- Oppose per User:Multichill. The antagonism toward another wiki is also somewhat disturbing. Also there are other languages with more than 100 million speakers that need native administrators and no one seems to be asking about them. Mahir256 (talk) 04:37, 26 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]- Thanks for your application. After looking at your talk page, I'm wondering why I don't see much response on the messages there. Any reason why? Sjoerd de Bruin (talk) 11:54, 20 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
- Sjoerddebruin I do not respond in my talk page.look here.Thank you --ديفيد عادل وهبة خليل 2 (talk) 12:08, 20 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
- It's common practice to answer a question on the talk page the conversation started. This way it's clear what the whole discussion is. If I ask you a question on your talkpage I expect to find the answer there, so I can respond there too. Mbch331 (talk) 16:31, 20 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
- Sjoerddebruin, Mbch331 Ok, I can change my way of replying to messages.Thank you --ديفيد عادل وهبة خليل 2 (talk) 16:35, 20 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

- Liuxinyu970226, Rschen7754I contribute actively to the deletion requests and Wikidata needs Arab administrator
- You miss the point. The language skills would be helpful, but why should you be the "Arab administrator"? How do we know that you will use the tools (including blocking, deletion, and protection) properly? --Rschen7754 07:30, 21 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
- Rschen7754 I must work (with permission or without it) according to the policies.Thank you --ديفيد عادل وهبة خليل 2 (talk) 07:56, 21 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

- StrynWhat do you mean?Did I say anything bad?Thanks --ديفيد عادل وهبة خليل 2 (talk) 13:54, 22 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
- You didn't answer clearly to the answers above, at least not in the way I would support you. --Stryn (talk) 13:58, 22 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
- Mahir256 I ignore "arz" in Wikidata. And do not ruin anything related to it.Thank you --ديفيد عادل وهبة خليل 2 (talk) 16:49, 26 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
